Fable 2 ½
Part 5 Theresa:
To Sparrow, Theresa was like a mother she never had. Her parents dies when she was too little to remember, Rose supposedly did, but never did talk about it, possibly for Sparrow’s sakes. But still Theresa was one that was easily liked. She now lived in the Spire, a colossal of onyx black rock, cold as ice, even to look at. It was a tower of dreams, hope, will, death, and even lives were taken away.  Each spike and gnash in that tower represented each sin it has committed, and there were hundreds. Sparrow thought after taking down Lucien the tower would fall with him; Theresa had other plans for it. Still Sparrow did not like it one bit and never will, too much was taken from her, from that very tower.

When people say Theresa is not easily liked, that itself is no push over, you either like her or you don’t, Sparrow and Garth are so far the two exceptions. For Garth he didn’t mind her, he just didn’t really trust somethings about her. Sparrow doesn’t blame him for this, very little is known about her other than her looks and a talent she holds. Sparrow was raised by this woman, after the accident of Rose, and was also the same woman that helped her and the other heroes in defeating Lucien. But even she has a once in a while unsettled feeling about the woman.

Sparrow pulled out a small version of the Spire out and held it to her heart. She closed her eyes and thought of the cold depths of it dark halls and the pillar room lightened in the middle pillar with four more around it, one connected to a door that went to the halls. And the only light within it was pale cold blue, like ice in caves of the Northern Waste. When she opened them she was looking at Theresa. The woman hadn’t changed a bit. She looked in her thirties with her brown air around her pale white face. She wore a red and white gypsy clothing the hood up. You wouldn’t think much of this woman, except for a few things. She was blinded, pure blind eyes, milky white, but they still looked at you, even down to your very soul. It could see things, many things, even things no other human on this world could. And her smile, sly and cold happiness, like she was one step ahead of you, more in fact so much more. The Blind Seer she was called, rumored, and thought dead. Sparrow herd she was even immortal, but never did asked, never dared ask.
“I’m glad you have made it Little Sparrow, welcome.” Said Theresa her voice small, quiet, a bit cold, yet strong, and a tinged of happiness. Her small home moving slightly shows the room around them. Sparrow finds in this woman when looked hard. The woman was glad the see Sparrow. And her nick name hasn’t changed either, Little Sparrow; a name Rose called her and now Theresa.

“Why do you call me, last time you did it was to show me my future,” Sparrow began, she was sensitive with her future destiny, “what wrong?”

Theresa shrugged, but her smile tilted down a bit, “something has come up, something big, and that must be handled…by heroes”

Sparrow didn’t like the sound of that, could Lucien is alive, and no Reaver and she made twice sure of it. She tensed.

“The past has begun to repeat itself, but not in the name of Lucien.” Sparrow lightened a bit.

    “Okay, then what?”

“I can’t tell you, I’m sorry,” Theresa made sure to put the sorry in, she knew Sparrow hated not being fully told what going on, but it’s for the best. Sparrow sighed. Knowing it’s useless to push this wise woman. “But I can tell you this get Reaver from Bloodstone, he should be there by now, and we will need him.”

Sparrow was shocked at this, need Reaver, again, and he’s back from Samarkand. Good, and bad, Garth can be sane again, but Reaver here and alive. Garth, she wonders every day how he’s doing, what he is doing this very minute. Has he learned something new, did he make something new? Garth was very interesting to the hero, in many ways. In years of the Spire she learned so much about him. And she was able to open up to him, to tell him things like she does to Hammer. Still even he now know things about Sparrow, Hammer doesn’t. “And will we need the others?”
Theresa saw this would come, and was somewhat happy with what she found in Sparrow, even the part of Reaver. Theresa didn’t very much like him either, a young little twit, a spoiled child, calm word, for her. She can be colorful when very much needed too. And looked at Sparrow calmly saying, “Do not worry I called them as well, like I did you, they should be in Bowerstone soon, but now is not the time for reunions, get Reaver, and I will have more to say.”

“That ended that conversation,” Thought Sparrow. “But still Garth and Hammer, they’re coming back!” Sparrow could barely hold the happiness in her heart. And that thought to kept her from killing Reaver, she teleported away.

When the hero left Theresa frowned. The child she once knew, is now a great hero of Albion, and many more. “Oh how time past so quickly.” Theresa didn’t mind being immortal she was able to see great things. But even such things have their own consequences. Her only true family that was left, her brother, now long dead. The only thing close to family she had left was Little Sparrow. “Huh, maybe I’m getting soft again” She thought.  With that she began thinking more of her past, and the future to come. She now has something to look forward to. She will soon see her old friends, more or less friends. It has been very long since she saw them and ironically she misses some of them.  But again with consequences, these friends to have a part with what are to come, for good or for bad. Theresa hopped for good, they can be a bit difficult to decipher, even for her, many moves that they made and will make, that Theresa doesn’t know about, and that bothered her very much. And with this topic of dissection that about to happen, will stressed their bond of friendship very much, this will be the hardest for her and her friends yet and will meet. It might even destroy the fragile friendship, but that can’t happen, she won’t allow it. Without them, hope, and everything Sparrow and many great heroes before her, will be lost. But they are strong, very strong, and Theresa, smiled a tiny bit again, hopes still within her. And with that, started to think and see other things.

Part Six:
Hammer and Garth meet again, and with that a few surprises
I really do hope this goes well. I wrote this and next chapter years ago and have story in mind but, well, you know how it goes, not remembering everything you want in it. Still hope it goes well.
